Every Little Helps

Every Little Helps

Tulips come from Amsterdam, or so the song does say,

Not quite like daffodils that grew in Wordsworth’s day,

Wandering lonely as a cloud, with no particular place to go,

I can have my fill of flowers, down at our local Tesco!

From finest to the simplest bunch, there’s always a price to pay.

No matter where you live, there’s always a store, down your way.

Striking out for world dominance, the well-known Tesco brand,

Seems to insinuate itself into every corner of the land!

Whilst ‘every little helps’ is the company’s catchy motto,

They’ve helped themselves to so much land there’s no where else to go.

So I’ll wrap me up some tulips and a couple of bunches of daffs,

But it’s Tesco directors that are having the last laughs.
